Museum/arts/culture
Built in the 1880s as a purpose-made venue for large temporary exhibitions, Palazzo delle Esposizioni continues that role today, staging rotating shows that have covered everything from press photography retrospectives to broad surveys of Roman history and design. Its grand Neoclassical interior is itself part of the draw, and reviewers frequently mention discounted tickets during Rome's periodic museum-night events as good value. A 4.5 rating and strong must-see and culture scores reflect consistent satisfaction across very different programming, meaning the building's reputation rests as much on execution and setting as on any single fixed exhibit. Because content changes completely between visits, checking the current show is essential before planning a trip.

What people say
"I went during Museum night so the ticket was cheap. I have to say the place is really beautiful and I love the selection of paintings. The press photography upstairs is a bit heavy and for sure not for everyone. But besides I had a good time and would recommend. The building itself is worth seeing."
