ITA Bistro

4.5 (351)$$$$ · Premium

ITA Bistro puts an open hearth at the center of its cooking, turning out a menu that rotates often depending on what's landed at the market and what the fire allows. The room is relaxed rather than formal, but the technique and wine list are serious, and reviewers single out the pairing of confident cooking with a genuinely thoughtful list. At 4.5 stars over 351 reviews and with a high aesthetic score, it reads as a stylish, food-focused night out rather than a tourist stop. Its moderate must-see and culture scores suggest a spot locals and visiting food fans book deliberately rather than one people stumble into.

What people say

"The food at Ita Bistro was overall excellent. Most of the dishes were beautifully executed and full of flavor, and the wine selection was fantastic. clearly well curated and thoughtfully paired with the menu. The only dish that didn’t quite meet the same standard was the tortellini, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Also the bread was not fresh. What really affected the experience, however, was the front of house. When you’re spending close to €200 per person, you expect not only great food and wine but also a sense of hospitality. Unfortunately, the service felt very cold and distant. There was little to no warmth or welcoming energy. which made the atmosphere feel somewhat uninviting despite the quality coming out of the kitchen. Train your staff to give good service. Its 90% of the experience."
