"Free admission and free clean bathroom. Also try Carnavalet Museum Musée Carnavalet - Histoire de Paris for a larger free museum with free bathroom nearby. We took a taxi to Carnavalet and walked over to here through a pleasant little shopping street. This museum was the mansion of Victor Hugo and you can see the inspiration of his novels here. It’s a bit small as a museum, but if you take into account it was his home and half of the buildings was locked off for the museum staff you understand how large it is even for writers today. Also stop by the rear garden accessible from the other end of the block."
