Run by the family-owned Fragonard perfumery founded in 1926, this museum near the Opéra Garnier offers free entry to explore how perfume is made and its history from antiquity onward. Displays include an extensive collection of antique bottles, kohl pots, pomanders, and travel perfume sets. Visitors can also book a workshop to create their own eau de cologne, and a boutique sells Fragonard's fragrances and gift sets.

"Such a fun and unique experience in Paris! 🌸🍸🇫🇷 A friend booked the Fragonard Perfume Museum and cocktail workshop, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The tour begins at the Fragonard Perfume Museum, where you learn the history behind French perfume. Then comes the “Flower of the Year” workshop, where you create your own custom 12 ml eau de toilette. I loved the floral notes of orange blossom, rose, jasmine, tuberose, and mimosa and now I have a personalized fragrance to bring home as a souvenir. Yes, the workshop ends in the gift shop (naturally!), but the fun doesn’t stop there. From there, it’s a short walk to the beautiful bar at Sofitel Le Scribe for a mixology workshop. This was such a great surprise! We sat with an amazing group of seven women from around the world, which made the experience even more fun. Using ingredients like French gin, bergamot liqueur, and verjus, we created a cocktail I never would have ordered on my own, but absolutely loved. If you’re looking for something different from the usual sightseeing, this experience is a perfect blend of French fragrance, cocktails, and international camaraderie.
