"My wife and kids enjoyed our experience from the moment we entered the dinning area. We arrived and soon we were guided to our table where 4 of the staff were waiting to greet us and sit us at our table. The ambiance was very calming and the lighting was perfect. We went with the Anabasi Catabasi option along with the wine pairing for the adults. The wines paired so well with each of the menu items and it was refreshing to being treated to wines from outside of Italy. Each dish had a magnificent presentation that danced well with the ingredients of the dish. The staff did an excellent job in presenting the ingredients of each item and the choreographed serving gave us a sense of high quality service. Similarly, the retrieval of our dishes was almost supernatural in that it also flowed. I really liked how they improvised to cover a stain I made on the table. The eye for excellence.is there at every level. Daniel was impressive as he was able to present items in both English and Italian with a distinguished yet welcomi tone. Benito's keen eye also played an important role and his ability to make us feel welcomed and at home was infallible. As Benito approached our table he asked about a particular dish and noticed that it was not one of my favorites and asked me if I wanted anything else. I was pleasantly surprised by his attentiveness and willingness to accommodate my palate. As we were celebrating my birthday and my daughter's birthday; 21st and 23rd respectively, we were pleasently surprised by the gorgeous chocolate pastry they prepared for us. In summary, the meal was incredible and the voyage in the Mediterranean with their dishes and wines was absolutely wonderful!! We shall return to Acqoulina when we return to Rome. Prego!
