Nature/outdoor
The Bois de Boulogne spans nearly 850 hectares on the western edge of Paris, more than twice the size of Central Park, and was landscaped in the 19th century under Napoleon III with lakes, cycling paths, and gardens including the Bagatelle and Jardin d'Acclimatation. Reviewers describe it as a genuinely large-scale escape from the city, well suited to a half-day or more with kids or a bike.

What people say
"I visited Bois de Boulogne with the children and walked around the park for some time. It is a beautiful and spacious green area, with plenty of trees, open grassy spaces, and ponds. We especially enjoyed seeing the ducks and swans around the water, which made the walk more enjoyable for the children. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and it was nice to spend some time surrounded by nature away from the busy streets of Paris. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. It is a lovely place for a walk, especially with children, and a good option if you want some greenery and fresh air while in Paris."
