Bar Mut

4.1 (2,025)$$$ · Expensive

Bar Mut keeps its menu deliberately compact, favouring a tightly curated list of croquettes, tomato salad, and seasonal small plates over a sprawling selection, with no English menu available — a detail reviewers see as a sign of authenticity rather than an inconvenience. At 4.1 stars from 2,025 reviews, it sits in the expensive tier for a tapas bar, reflecting quality ingredients and confident execution rather than volume. Walk-ins can sometimes find outdoor seating even without a reservation on quieter weeknights. It suits diners wanting a genuinely local tapas experience over a menu tailored to tourists.

What people say

"We had one of the best meals in Barcelona here and everything was beautiful! They do not offer English menu but our waitress took really good care of us and explained everything in detail. She is also good at recommending dishes. The artichoke, the seafood tartare and red prawn paella are to die for. Honestly everything was delicious and exceptional. Wine was amazing too. This restaurant is a pure heaven!"
