"Worthwhile to view the spectacular Annibale Carracci frescoed ceiling packed with lively detail. Interesting also to see the Roman mosaics in the foundations and to appreciate the scale of this magnificent Renaissance palace. As noted by others, no photography is permitted. It is necessary to book the tour long in advance. I booked more than a month in advance for a tour in February. The guide was kind and pleasant, providing enough information to satisfy most visitors. If you are curious or knowledgeable read up in advance to prepare your visit. Mirrors are provided to assist in viewing the Carracci frescoes (making it a bit easier on the neck!). Some might find the visit pricey at over €20. Overall an interesting experience for lovers of Rome and Roman history"
