This Paris Musées site occupies the house, studio and garden where sculptor Ossip Zadkine lived and worked. Permanent collections, free to enter, display his sculptures, graphic art, photographs and archives alongside works by his wife, painter Valentine Prax. The garden holds several sculptures, and the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, guided tours and family workshops.

"He was not Russian. Ossip Zadkine was born and raised in Vitebsk, Belarus just as his fellow countryman Marc Chagall. They knew each other personally. Zadkine became one of the greatest names in Cubist sculpture. This little musée feels more like an artist’s studio rather than a museum, private, intimate, unique and deeply personal. It tells a story. Pls visit, it’s incredible."
