Cinema Troisi

4.6 (704)$ · Budget-friendly

Cinema Troisi has built a devoted local following by showing films in their original voice (VO) rather than dubbed, a rarity in Rome that draws both locals and English-speaking visitors. Its main theatre's comfortable chairs and relaxed, atmospheric vibe come up repeatedly in reviews, even as some note the film selection can be limited on any given night. A local_score of 76 and hidden_gem_score of 56 mark it as a genuine neighborhood favorite rather than a tourist stop, appealing to those wanting an authentic slice of Roman cinema culture. It suits an evening looking for a relaxed, film-focused outing away from the main sights.

What people say

"This place is a vibe. Incredible selection of films to watch in their main theatre in comfy chairs. All movies are in original voice (VO). When I went on a Friday night, there were tons of people of all ages hanging out and using all of the different spaces available (theater, bar, stairs outside, coworking/study space). The cafe inside the theater is welcoming and has a wide selection of beverages and food. The food options are definitely limited with paninis and pastries. That’s where I think there could be some room to grow."
