"This is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments and if you are in Paris towards the end of May or the beginning of June, I highly recommend it. Located a 10-minute walk from the "Porte d'Auteuil" metro station (line 10), you are greeted and directed as soon as you exit the metro. You don't have to be a tennis fan to have a good time in the Roland Garros village. Reading the negative reviews about ticket prices, it's best to opt for the first week or even the qualifying rounds. Regarding the cost of food and drinks on-site, you are allowed to bring your own. It's true there's a wait before entering, but rigorous security is preferable. One last issue concerns school trips and the inappropriate behavior of some young people, which clearly gives a bad impression.
