Larb Koi

4.6 (701)$$ · Mid-range

Larb Koi has built its reputation on strong personal recommendations, with reviewers describing dishes as elevated or authentically Thai depending on the plate, and the tuna tataki singled out for its punchy flavour. A 4.6 rating across 701 reviews and repeat visits mentioned by fans point to a genuinely satisfying kitchen rather than a passing trend. Its evening-focused best time slots and mid-range pricing suggest an easy, flavourful dinner rather than a formal event. It's worth seeking out on a friend's recommendation, much as many of its regulars did.

What people say

"Been meaning to visit Larb Koi after enthusiastic reviews from my friends. Upon arriving, the waitress asked if we were there before and mentioned that there are no vegan options in the menu (we were aware that even meatless dishes contain fish sauce) and that the food is properly spicy (and it was!). Good to be upfront about that! Unfortunately, another info that is visible right at the door is that the restaurant is cash only. In 2026, restaurant at this level not accepting cards is a bad experience, even for Berlin standards. We took out the cash and proceeded anyway. We ordered oysters - they were big and juicy, I really liked them. We weren’t extremely hungry, so we shared a papaya salad (really spicy!) and tataki tuna with lemongrass salad. The waitress recommended to order 2-3 plates for 2 people to share, however, two would definitely not be enough for us if we were hungrier. The food was really good though, fresh and of taste. Together with drinks (water, one beer and one glass of wine) we paid about 60 euros (without the tip), which is really a lot considering the size of the portions. This matched the experience of my friends who also said Larb Koi wasn’t cheap. All in all, amazing food but quite expensive for the amount you’re getting. If the portions were bigger and the cards were accepted, it would be a 5 stars review, unfortunately those two things slightly spoiled an otherwise nice evening."
