"Upon stepping into the compact ground-floor space, I was immediately greeted by a member of staff who was attentive and keen to help. Service was prompt and friendly, and I appreciated the effort taken to walk me through the menu when I hesitated over what to choose. I eventually opted for the chicken, avocado and bacon bap, and was told it would only take a few moments to prepare, which proved accurate. The food itself was freshly made, and the ingredients were clearly of good quality. No complaints there. However, the experience took a sharp turn at the till. Being asked to pay £11 for what is, ultimately, a fairly modest bap was genuinely surprising. While the quality was solid, the portion size simply didn’t justify the price point. To summarise: • Freshly made – yes • Good quality ingredients – yes • Satisfying portion – unfortunately not • Value for money – definitely not If this were priced somewhere in the £6–£9 range, it would be an easy 5-star review. At its current price, though, it feels significantly overpriced for what you get. Because of this mismatch between cost and value, I wouldn’t return."
