Companion Tea & Coffee

4.7 (395)$ · Budget-friendly

Companion Tea & Coffee distinguishes itself with a menu that goes beyond the usual pastry case — reviewers specifically praise a miso-topped focaccia with a good, fresh texture, alongside mochi cookies that get equal billing with the coffee itself. The curated tea selection and vast pastry range give it range beyond a typical coffee stop, and the staff draw consistent praise as a reason to return on their own. With outdoor seating that comes into its own in summer and a 4.7 rating over 395 reviews, it's a strong pick for a longer, food-focused coffee break on Weserstraße.

What people say

"I had the focaccia and the mochi cookie and I loved both. The focaccia had a good texture and tasted really fresh. The miso paste on top was great. The cookie was really chewy and really reminded me of mochi. For drinks I had the horchata, I wanted to try that in a long time and I quite liked it. The matcha was also good. One star less, because I would have wished for more vegan options, especially savoury ones."
