Spindler

4.5 (1,658)$$$ · Expensive

Spindler pairs a genuinely chic interior and exterior with a relaxed, unhurried service style, and its canal-side terrace with heaters extends the appeal well into cooler months. One reviewer's reflection on sixteen years tied to the restaurant hints at how much of a fixture it's become for regulars over time. A 4.5 rating across 1,658 reviews and expensive pricing for a 105-minute visit position it as a considered evening choice rather than a quick meal. It suits a relaxed dinner, particularly when the terrace is an option.

✨ Reasons to go

  • 3One long-time regular reflected on 16 years of memories tied to the restaurant, underscoring its status as a neighbourhood fixture.

What people say

"16 years of my life ended here on a warm September evening, but life happens. When it comes to the restaurant, the ambience inside and outside is chic, and all the dishes I tried were tasty (burrata salad with berries, sea bream filet with caviar and potato salad, grilled swordfish with corn). The wine list is extensive and offers more than a dozen wines by the glass. Cost is around 50€/person for a starter, a main course and a glass of wine."
